Description
- This Pump Ring for Truck Tires is a flexible bead-seating aid developed to solve one of the most common truck tire service problems: air leakage at the bead during initial inflation.
- Built for 22.5″ to 24.5″ rim diameters, it helps technicians inflate tires faster by creating a sealing barrier between the tire and rim when the bead is not yet seated.
- The ring is positioned over the rim with the help of tire bead sealant or tire mounting paste, improving contact and stability during setup.
- It is particularly effective on bent rims, stiff sidewalls, or tires that are difficult to seat, including radial and bias-belted constructions.
- As inflation begins, the pump ring reduces leakage so air pressure can build and push the tire bead into the rim flange. Once the tire is fully inflated and seated, the ring slides out over the rim for quick removal.
- Made from high-quality flexible rubber, it is designed for repeated shop use while maintaining consistent sealing performance.
